
Dobel Tequila x PGA Tour
From 2021 to 2025, I led the creative direction for the Dobel x PGA TOUR activation, shaping a multi-year experiential program that brought the brand’s signature “smoothness mastered” to life. The work focused on elevating brand visibility and perception by delivering a premium, modern tequila experience—grounded in craft and artistry—directly to PGA TOUR audiences.

Create an activation that captured attention and conveyed Dobel’s premium identity. We aimed to showcase the brand’s smoothness in a modern, visually stunning way. The experience needed to feel refined and reflect Dobel’s commitment to mastery. It also had to drive engagement, encourage sampling, and support local purchasing. Key brand sponsorships, like Carlos Ortiz and Jon Rahm, were also highlighted as part of the experience.

We focused on three key groups: PGA TOUR attendees, VIP guests, and tastemakers in retail and on-premise settings. These were people who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and luxury rooted in substance—not status. They respond to brands that speak with depth, confidence, and clarity.

I served as Art Director on the program from 2021 to 2025. I led the visual direction for each year’s activation and translated brand strategy into physical experiences. My work included everything from look and feel development to overseeing execution. I also used learnings from each year to evolve and refine the experience over time.

This work was brought to life with a cross-functional team. I partnered closely with a creative director, designer, copywriter, motion designer, and account leads. We also collaborated with our internal producer and fabricators to ensure the final execution felt premium, intentional, and true to the brand.
























Golftec Swing Integration
One standout touchpoint within the space was our custom Golftec swing simulator. We collaborated with Golftec to shape both the visual environment and the interactive experience. The digital “hole” was set in the middle of an agave field in Tequila, Mexico, with Volcán de Tequila rising in the background—a nod to Dobel’s roots. A sleek water feature, inspired by the smooth pour of tequila, added movement and elegance to the map. A live leaderboard and prize offerings added a competitive edge, and guests regularly lined up for a chance to play.
Strokes of Genius Trivia Experience
Strokes of Genius made its debut as a head-to-head trivia showdown, blending the sophistication of Dobel with the energy of a game show. Guests stepped up to sleek, branded podiums to compete in rapid-fire trivia on the “Dobel Back 9,” where speed and accuracy determined their score—mirroring the rules of golf. A dynamic leaderboard kept the competition fierce, with top players eligible for extra prizes.
With a large screen anchoring the setup and real-time gameplay animations, the experience offered a sophisticated, competitive twist that stood out in a sea of passive sampling moments. For tighter spaces, a streamlined mobile version extended the gameplay to smaller footprints, keeping the fun—and data capture—flowing across markets.
